ALA Tulsa
The ALA Tulsa was chartered in April of 1978. We strive to provide an education and support network to law firm managers in Oklahoma’s Green Country area. ALA Tulsa accomplishes this through events such as monthly chapter meetings, teleseminars, regional and national educational events, social gatherings and our annual member retreat. To learn more about ALA Tulsa, join us at one of our upcoming events or click on the link to the membership brochure. Please feel free to read the “Value of One” article written by one of our members, Judy A. Anderson, and published in the February/March 2005 issue of the ALA Legal Management magazine.
ALA Tulsa Chapter Meetings
Chapter Educational Meetings are held the third Thursday of each month in the library of The Summit Club, located on the 31st floor of the Bank of America Building, at the corner of 6th and Boulder. These meetings provide for networking opportunities with peers as well as education enrichment, as we provide speakers on timely legal management issues.
ALA Tulsa Board Meetings
Board Meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month in the OneOk Cafeteria.
ALA Tulsa Newsletter
Our Chapter’s Newsletter, The Legal Pad, published semimonthly, is our communication link with members and the legal community. This “award winning” newsletter provides Chapter news, as well as several timely educational articles on various aspects of law firm management.
ALA Tulsa Community Outreach
The Chapter supports and encourages community service. In addition to participating in the ALA Annual Community Challenge Weekend (”CCW”), members participate in several community service projects throughout the year. ALA Tulsa members will be supporting one or more adopted families at Christmas as well as joining ALA International in its 10th year initiative “Smile Train.” ALA Tulsa business partners are encouraged to join ALA Tulsa members in serving the Tulsa community as well as reaching worldwide in ALA’s Smile Train initiative.
ALA Tulsa Annual Survey
The Chapter prepares and distributes an Annual Salary, Benefits, and Technology Survey to all participating ALA Tulsa members. The survey is an invaluable tool for members to use for a variety of local market information.
